We have three Turkish Kangal-Boz puppies, one female and two males. They are excellent, loyal guardians and require a lot of property. The female and one  male have the functional dewclaw gene and the other male has one functional dewclaw. They can easily handle a pack of coyotes, foxes, wolves, bears, wild bore or any predator large or small. Dad is 160 lbs. and Mom is 120 lbs. The breed has a gentle disposition and are good with kids and adults, but will protect their herd/flock with their life if necessary. As an owner, you are considered part of their herd/flock. As puppies, they will bond with other animals on your farm or ranch. As adults, they do not do well with other dogs that may wander on your property but can be integrated with new pets if introduced properly and if the new breed is not aggressive.

We are in East Texas between Athens and Palestine and are definitely worth the drive.
