Posted 06 Oct 2026Meet Piper ❤️
Piper is a beautiful young Great Dane who will be 1 year old in November. She is an unregistered female, solid gray with a little white, and weighs a little over 120 lbs. She is healthy, strong, and has the biggest personality to match her size!
Piper is incredibly loving, playful, and affectionate. She is a HUGE cuddle bug and absolutely believes she is a little baby despite being a massive dog. She loves attention and follows her person around like a shadow. If you sit down, there's a very good chance Piper would like to be right there with you.
She is also a goofy, playful girl with plenty of personality. She loves carrying things around in her mouth, so lots of sturdy toys are a must. When she doesn't get the attention she thinks she deserves, she can get a little mischievous. 😂
Piper is: • Housebroken • Good with children • Good with other dogs • Good with cats and has lived with them • Healthy and strong • Knows sit, spin, and shake • Partially crate trained • Up to date on vaccinations except rabies, which is due
Piper has never been aggressive. She can, however, be very enthusiastic and pushy because she simply hasn't realized that she is a 120+ lb dog. She wants to play with everything! She has lived peacefully with cats and will even sleep in the same bed with them, but she wants to play and doesn't always understand how big she is.
She has been with me since she was 6 weeks old, so rehoming her is not something I'm taking lightly.
I need to rehome Piper because my current living situation does not allow me to keep her, and my mother is no longer able to keep her at her property. Piper discovered she could roam freely on the five acres and became very interested in chasing the horses and chickens because she wanted to play with them. She has never shown aggression toward them, but because of her size and strength, she needs to be supervised around livestock and given a secure area to run and play.
Piper needs someone who has the time, space, patience, and understanding that comes with owning a giant-breed dog. She would thrive with someone who wants a big companion who will be involved in everything they do.
Most importantly, I want someone who will love Piper as much as she loves them. She is a giant, goofy, affectionate baby with a huge heart, and I want her next home to truly be her forever home.
Rehoming fee: $600. Serious inquiries only. A loving, responsible home is more important to me than simply finding her a new place to go.
