Living conditions   This household owns seven (term used loosely as anyone who has cats knows cats own, they are not owned.) has an outdoor patio. That is screened and open to the cats. The cats are indoor cats, save the rare escape. There are currently  4 cats  4 males and 2  females (1 senior). They are fed in the morning raw/wet foods and provided plenty of snacks/treats.  They have full run of the house except for one room.  There are four water fountains in operation, one located on the patio. There are plenty of toys which they rarely play with. All the cats get along very well. They are affectionate and generally friendly.  The home has rescued as many as twenty cats (twenty because a pregnant cat was rescued and gave birth here).  Any cat in need of a home that is accepted into this house  will be welcome here and given full run of the space. The litter boxes are automatic and generally cleaned once a week.   There are five such boxes.  As far as adjusting goes, as much time as it takes. We deal with most issues in house and have experience with: kidney, bladder and bowel issues for which we keep fluids on hand if needed, enema packs, kidney supplements, vitamins, etc. Our only expectation is that any cats with special issues are expressed upfront about it before adoption. We are not cat hoarders. But since we consider animals the responsibility of humans, we are willing to care for as many as possible. Fairly private household Email:         Current residents/owners: Spartacus senior female 19 plus years still very spry arrived as a kitten in our yard with a shotgun pellet – removed by the vet. Wiley, arrived about two years ago and it took us a year to actually get him in the house – has adjusted very well. Earned his name because he was in fact impossible to keep track of – right in front of you one minute and a second later gone. Broke several toes and was in a cast soon after his final arrival – healed up and as slippery as ever. Stray Rudy as a stray. Rudy adjusted to home living very quickly. It is interesting to note that within two months he permitted a bath with very little fuss Stray New arrival was a rehome female cat Phantom  is her name because of her ghostly facial appearance. She is kind, playful, and very affectionate. Though she certainly holds her own as a new resident/owner.   Rehome New arrival – Missy, affectionate and feisty. Which is not to say the others cats are not affectionate – they are. It is not uncommon to wake up surrounded by cats 360 – literally. We love cats and care for them – The patio is probably every cats favorite place its open and overlooks a down hill slope. The cats are indoors at all times, minus the rare escape. And when that occurs they usually appear as though they aren’t sure how that happened. At any rate, should you choose to give us a look --- they will be welcomed and loved and have plenty of company.
