Blanche is a very sweet mixed breed dog, she started her life in the shelter so she tends to be a bit nervous around strangers, but after some patience , she will warm right up! She is vaccinated, house trained, crate trained and fixed. She knows basic commands like sit, down and paw. She might need some help on the leash as she sometimes will bark at other leashed dogs. She does well in the crate, and even will sometimes ask to go in for a break or a nap. She loves to play with other dogs at daycare (especially doodles). She is not treat reactive and is happy to politely wait her turn. She lived in a home with another dog so would probably be fine with a companion as long as they got to meet first! She is such a love when she warms up and she loves getting pets! Her last home is having trouble with the burden of two dogs so this would be a more urgent matter as she is on the euth list for next week! Blanche will need someone to be patient and work with her as she can be nervous opening up to people. She is very trainable and treat motivated, she just needs someone able to be patient with her! Blanche is very excited to find her forever home.
