Meet Nova! She is a beautiful pitbull/American bully who is about 3 years old approximately. She is fixed, micro chipped, and up to date on all of her shots. She is great with all people and kids. She is very friendly and loves to play. She has a lot of energy but also does well settling and loves to cuddle. She was adopted from the humane society and this is the reason we are unsure of her exact age. We are also unsure of her circumstances prior to arriving at the human society but she was found living on her own in an abandoned hotel. She does well playing with other dogs but can get a bit over excited and needs to be corrected at times. She definitely cannot live in a household with other dogs. She resource guards a lot and began guarding her territory and us as her own particularly from our other dogs. We have tried many forms of retraining and tried for almost a year to help correct the behavior but it is innate within her and seemingly will always be that way for her.  She truly is a wonderful dog aside from how she is with our other dogs. She loves our children and is very gentle with them. We think she had been around children before we got her due to her demeanor when she is around them. She is very smart and listens to commands well, even from my children. She loves to go on very long runs and would play fetch all day.
